Fleet maintenance responsibilities cover a variety of vehicles and specialized equipment. These assets are maintained in a safe and reliable manner to support the various functions of the city.

Assets

Fleet assets include:

• Light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles
• Specialized off-road equipment with attachments
• Specialized police equipment and patrol vehicles
• Multipurpose vehicles that can be quickly reconfigured to handle a wide variety of assignments

Responsibilities

Fleet responsibilities include asset acquisition, outfitting, maintenance, repair, and surplus activities. This workgroup also performs emergency generator testing and oversees operation of the city fuel dispensing station.
