This year's work includes replacement of drainage pipes at Wyatt Way as well as water-quality improvements to the Windsong Loop storm-water pond. The following bid alternates were not included in this year's work as the bid amounts came in higher than anticipated: South Beach drainage pipes and landscape mitigation at the Waterfront Park storm drain and outfall.
Project Timeline
At their September 8, 2020 meeting, City Council rejected the one bid received from the August 21 bid opening. Staff plans to re-bid at a later date.
This project has been advertised and the bid opening was held on August 21, 2020.
The project is estimated to start mid-September and completion is anticipated to be end of the year or early spring depending on weather conditions.
What to expect during the project construction
Work hours will be from 7 AM to 7 PM with intermittent construction noise. Local access will be maintained at all times with one lane with flaggers intermittently.
Following construction award, the project schedule will be posted here as well as on-site notices will be posted.
