The Annual Drainage program works to improve drainage conditions on the Island through small drainage improvement projects including, but not limited to, culvert repairs and replacement of aging storm drain lines that carry storm runoff from one side of the road to the other.
The 2022 Annual Drainage project consists removal, replacement, and construction of drainage structures, storm drain lines, catch basins, landscaping, grading, paving, etc.
For 2022, the base bid includes drainage improvements on Irene Place NW and Fort Ward Hill Road NE. The alternates include: Shepard Way Drainage Improvements, and Cross Culvert Replacement at Eagle Harbor 5173. The bid opening was held on November 28, 2022, and the contract award to the apparent low responsive bidder will be considered at the December 13, 2022 Business Meeting.
