Traffic Alert: Detour along Madison Ave on Friday, April 26 for paving project

Madison Detour

On Friday, April 26, the southbound lane of Madison Avenue N from High School Road to Wyatt Way will be closed due to a paving project. Drivers traveling south along Madison Avenue at High School Road will be detoured to Grow Avenue and Wyatt Way (see detour map). The closure is expected from 7 a.m. until the early afternoon.

The northbound lane of Madison Avenue will remain open with one lane and flaggers.

Pedestrians should use the sidewalk on the east side of Madison Avenue.

The pavement project is being done to support utility work in the area at the nearby development project sites along the Madison Avenue core. This is not a City of Bainbridge Island project.

For more information, please contact Nick Smith of Central Highlands at 425.877.7627 or send an email and reference ROW Permit #19-075.

Please spread the word to your family, neighbors and customers.
