UPDATE, 6:20 p.m. : Bainbridge Police have located 81-year-old Mary Beth Blanchard on Bainbridge Island. She is safe and was found by a community member. Thank you for the public’s assistance.
The Bainbridge Island Police Department needs help from the public to find a Bainbridge Island woman with dementia who hasn’t been seen in a couple days.
Mary Beth Blanchard, 81, was reported missing by her caregiver on the afternoon of Thursday, April 18 around 1:30. Blanchard was last seen on security footage on Wednesday, April 17 around 6:45 p.m. leaving her residence at the Winslow Arms apartments, located at 220 Parfitt Way. She was wearing a green skirt and orange shirt. Blanchard is described as 5'2, 105 pounds with long white hair and blue eyes.
The Washington State Patrol (WSP) is reviewing security footage to see if Blanchard took the ferry to Seattle.
The Bainbridge Island Police Department is getting assistance from the Washington Explorer Search and Rescue (WESAR) – Kitsap Unit.
