Drivers Should Expect Delays Due to Development Construction Near SR 305 & High School Rd

Drivers and cyclists should expect minor delays when utility work begins near SR 305 and High School Road.

A Comcast contractor is expected to begin the work Thursday, Jan. 10 with an anticipated completion on Friday, Jan. 18.

High School Road, from Hildebrand Lane to Wintergreen Lane NE, will be reduced to one lane in each direction with flaggers.

Crews will be working during the day (9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.) and night ( 8 p.m. – 6 a.m.). During the overnight construction, a police officer will be guiding traffic at the High School Rd and SR 305 intersection as there will be more construction activity with crews boring under the road.

Drivers are advised to plan ahead as this may cause delays during the morning and evening commutes for ferry passengers.

For more information, contact Comcast Representative Lee Haines at 253.278.2474. This is not a City of Bainbridge Island project.
