YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that members of the Sustainable Transportation Task Force will host the first of four educational sessions for Sustainable Transportation Task Force members and the public to learn more about issues related to sustainable transportation. The public is invited to watch, but there will be no opportunity for public comment.

 
The first session will include:
 

•    Basic principles of a sustainable transportation system.

•    The synergistic effect of sustainable transportation mode choices.

•    What does it take to achieve our bold climate action plan goals?

In anticipation that a quorum of Sustainable Transportation Task Force members will attend, these educational sessions are being noticed as Special Sustainable Transportation Task Force meetings.

A quorum of Bainbridge Island City Council members will also likely attend these educational sessions.  As a result, these sessions are being noticed as special City Council meetings.  The City Council will not make any decisions at this meeting.
