The police station lobby is currently closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, fingerprinting services are currently suspended. When we begin offering those services again, it is likely that we may need to do so by appointment only in order to limit the number of guests in our small lobby at any one time. We may also require that visitors wear a face mask. Check back for updates, or give us a call 206-842-5211. We anticipate being open again to the public (by appointment only) after Governor Inslee moves the county into Phase 3.
Under normal conditions, fingerprinting services are available at the police department Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. The department operates a LiveScan fingerprinting system and transmits fingerprints digitally to Washington State Patrol unless you need a hard card, which we can print for you. Getting fingerprints generally takes just a few minutes. No appointment necessary. Fees vary.
