Animal Licensing

The police station lobby is currently closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  If you need an animal license, please complete this fillable form and submit it to us by mail with a check or money order payable to CoBI.  You may also call the station at 206-842-5211 to pay by credit card over the phone.  We anticipate being open again to the public (by appointment only) after Governor Inslee moves the county into Phase 3.

Per Chapter 6.08 of the Bainbridge Island Municipal Code, owners of dogs must obtain a license (cat licensing is optional). If your animal is spayed or neutered, the cost is $6 for lifetime tag. For animals who are not spayed or neutered, the fee is $25 per year. If you need an animal license, please complete this fillable form and submit it to us by mail with a check or money order payable to CoBI.

Among other locations in the county, animal licenses can also be processed at the Day Road Animal Hospital, and the Humane Society in Silverdale.
