Groundwater MonitoringGroundwater is the sole source of drinking water on Bainbridge Island. Therefore, it’s essential to have a thorough understanding of the island’s complex aquifer system through scientific study and long-term monitoring.
At present, the city collects quarterly water level data and annual chloride measurements. Water level data is used to help assess the quantity of water in different aquifers.
