Eagle Harbor Beach Mains / Sewer Complex

Based on investigations of the beachline sewer system and the longevity of the system, the City has determined that the system requires improvements.  A City contractor will abandon the existing sewer main pipes, currently located in the west Eagle Harbor beach area (from Wood Avenue to Sunday Cove), and reroute the pipes upland, including individual residential side sewers.  The Sunday Cove and Lower Lovell pump stations will be replaced, and a new pump station will be added at the Wood Avenue location.  The existing Wood Avenue pump station will be rehabilitated.

This project is currently in the permit review phase, and construction is estimated to start in 2024.  Permit documents may be viewed by clicking this link to Eagle Harbor Beach Mains / Sewer Complex permit documents.

The City hosted an online webinar on July 8, 2020 to present the project concept. Click here to view a recording of the webinar and here to view the slide show presentation.
