Eagle Harbor Beach Mains / Sewer Complex

Description

The West Eagle Harbor Beach Sewer projects includes the decommissioning in place of 2,500 linear feet of 10-inch ductile iron pipe in the intertidal due to numerous sags, bellies, and joint separations caused by inadequate pipe support from surrounding soils. New 8-inch sewer lines and residential grinder pumps will be installed to improve capacity and efficiency of the existing sewer system as flows are redirected from the existing 10-inch iron pipe into the new 8-inch sewer lines to prevent sewage from entering into the environment.

Some of the existing sewer lift stations will have to be rehabilitated to handle the increased flows. Additional sewer lift pump stations are also proposed to handle increased capacity. The West Eagle Harbor Beach Sewer projects are broken out by location and are as follows:

  • Sunday Cove Sanitary Sewer Improvements
  • Lower Lovell Sanitary Sewer Improvements
  • Wood Avenue Pump Station
