Eagle Harbor Beach Mains / Sewer Complex
Project overview
Based on investigations of the beachline sewer system and the longevity of the system, the City has determined that this system requires improvements. A City contractor will abandon the existing sewer main pipes, currently located in the west Eagle Harbor beach area (from Wood Avenue to Sunday Cove), and reroute the pipes upland, including individual residential side sewers. The Sunday Cove and Lower Lovell pump stations will be replaced, and a new pump station will be added at the Wood Avenue location. The existing Wood Avenue pump station will be rehabilitated.
January 2026: Project advertisement for construction is on hold pending City permit approvals.
On June 10th, 2025, the City Council authorized advertisement for construction of this project.
The City hosted an online webinar on July 8, 2020 to present the project concept.
