The Old Treatment Plant pump station was constructed in the 1950’s to serve the Winslow sewer system and is located in the parking lot area of several downtown businesses. The station receives gravity collection and pumped discharged from the Lovell Avenue Pump Station.
The proposed work includes removing and replacing pumps and motors and installing a new 40-kilowatt generator. All materials needed to install the new pumps, motor, and new valving is included as a part of the installation.
On Wednesday, July 31st, from approximately 7 AM till 3 PM, Madison Avenue South will have intermittent vehicle lane closures. Traffic flaggers will be on-site. Also, pedestrians travelling south on Madison Avenue are advised to use the westside of the road to avoid possible intermittent delays on the east side.
Construction began Summer 2019 and is anticipated to be completed by Fall 2019.
