Requesting a Proclamation
Proclamations are typically issued by the Mayor, on behalf of the City Council, to provide recognition for special events or significant issues. The goal of a proclamation is to honor and celebrate events or to increase awareness of significant issues of importance to Bainbridge Island residents.
All requests must be received at least 30 days before the date you need the proclamation.
Proclamations are not automatically renewed. Requests must be made on an annual basis.
Each proclamation should include the suggested language
Proclamations must recognize a day, week or month.
