OLD TREATMENT PLANT PUMP STATION REPLACEMENT

DESCRIPTION

The Old Treatment Plant pump station was constructed in the 1950’s to serve the Winslow sewer system and is located in the parking lot area of several downtown businesses. The station receives gravity collection and pumped discharged from the Lovell Avenue Pump Station.

The proposed work includes removing and replacing pumps and motors and installing a new 40-kilowatt generator. All materials needed to install the new pumps, motor, and new valving is included as a part of the installation.

ACTIVITY

  • October 23, 2018 - City Council proposed bid award.
  • October 2018 - This project was re-bid and a bid opening was held on October 8th.  
  • 9/11/2018 - City Council rejected the one bid received.  City plans to re-advertise late September.
  • July 2018 - Advertising through the Small Works Roster process.
